The Blue Plate - West

I had dinner here last night and the food and service is as great as I remember. It's been a few years since I last ate here but I need to come by more often. The service and food was outstanding and the free corn bread they bring out is addicting. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was some of the best I've had in Dothan so make sure to give it a taste.

We had a nice early dinner here. The food was quite good. The service was great. The atmosphere was somewhat modern, but the crowd was not. I think this is a local favorite location. If you used to like cracker barrel, you will like this better. The food here is superior.

The place was packed. Showed up with 6 people. Sat down immediately. Food was out in 10 minutes!!! Service was polite and fast! The porch was very pleasant. Music with a car lot view.

I had a rather great time here. I've often seen signs for Blue Plate, but I never actually went until last evening. I had a very pleasant time. I was able to get food at a reasonable price for my guests, and the food quality was there. I do recommend this place for a quiet, quaint place to spend time with family.

Tiffany J was my server very sweet young lady. Got a great sense of humor. Food is always good and fresh and the fried corn bread is so so good and fresh. Im giving them a 5 star. Yall want some good home cook food come here on west side. You wont be regret it.

When u walked into the restaurant it's look is stylish, it's very roomy, waitress was very friendly, she is on her game constantly checking on us with tea and coffee and a friendly smile, we started out with cornbread fritters ,they are great, soft and fluffy texter, i ordered pulled pork plate smothered in gravy, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, my wife had cat fish plate, fried with mac n cheese and turnip greens ,all was very delicious, great sweet tea , restaurant is very inviting , we really enjoyed everything , the plates are very filling, the pulled pork was tender and the gravy set it off great taste, the taste of the mashed potatoes seem like the are real mashed potatoes not box , but I could be wrong but they are very good with that delicious gravy, mac n cheese really good also, my wife was very satisfied with her catfish, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside , great turnip greens also .

This is a great southern food restaurant! We found it purely by accident and it’s 2 hours away from my home. I will go there any chance I get because it’s so good. My waitress, Tiffany J, is the absolute best waitress ever! She is very attentive, very interactive with her customers and just a genuine joy to be around. They need to clone her. You don’t find a lot of good waitresses like her anymore!
